United Methodist Churches

United Methodists has been at the Fair since the 1960s. It began with Grace Methodist Church (then United Brethren - merged forming United Methodists in 1968). About fifteen years ago, First United Methodist joined the team with Grace  – adding many hands to share the workload.

The menu hasn’t varied much, with some enhancements. A pastor at Grace “invented” the REVerend burger – a double cheese burger with ham and grilled onions, a Fair favorite of hungry-big eaters!  Burgers and homemade pies are the mainstays. Other grill favorites, especially with the kids, are hot dogs and grilled cheese. The pies are made over the summer by a team of 4-8 ladies of Grace, frozen then baked fresh each morning of the fair.

We work hard but have a lot of fun and fellowship!

Come eat with us at the Fair – you’ll love the fresh, homemade taste!
