Permits
Camping on the Fairgrounds is only available in conjunction with an event hosted on the Fairgrounds. Permission from the Missoula County Fairgrounds is required. Camping fees vary according to the instructions of the event organizer, services used and length of stay.
Dry Camping
Only dry camping is available on the Fairgrounds. Generators may be used as the discretion of the event organizer and most meet noise limit standards. RV hookups for power and water are limited and require prior approval from Missoula County Fairgrounds. No dumping is allowed.
Best Practices
Open fires or open pits are not allowed on the Fairgrounds. You may use a barbecue or similar device that contains and raises coals off the ground.
Dogs are permitted on the Fairgrounds at the discretion of the event organizer. Dogs must be leashed at all times. Please keep dogs in your designated campsite. Missoula County Fairgrounds reserves the right to inspect camping areas for maintenance concerns and animal welfare.
Lanes between campsites must remain clear at all times for emergency access and fire protection. Vehicles blocking emergency access may be towed at owner’s expense.
Quiet time begins at 10PM to respect other campers and the surrounding neighborhood.
Waiver
A waiver of liability is required for all individuals camping on Missoula County Fairgrounds. The Fairgrounds assumes no liability for damages to camping units or injuries. The Fairgrounds is not responsible for security of the camping area.
