Camping for Events
Reserved exclusively for events hosted on the premises.
Permits
Individual camping isn’t available at the Fairgrounds. Camping is only allowed as part of an event hosted here, with prior approval from the Missoula County Fairgrounds. If an event includes camping, the event organizer will handle all logistics and fees.
Dry Camping
The Fairgrounds offers dry camping only, with no on-site dumping facilities. Generator use is permitted at the discretion of the event organizer and must comply with noise limits. Limited RV hookups for power and water are available but require prior approval from the Missoula County Fairgrounds.
Best Practices
Open fires or open pits are not allowed on the Fairgrounds. You may use a barbecue or similar device that contains and raises coals off the ground.
Dogs are permitted on the Fairgrounds at the discretion of the event organizer. Dogs must be leashed at all times. Please keep dogs in your designated campsite. Missoula County Fairgrounds reserves the right to inspect camping areas for maintenance concerns and animal welfare.
Lanes between campsites must remain clear at all times for emergency access and fire protection. Vehicles blocking emergency access may be towed at owner’s expense.
Quiet time begins at 10PM to respect other campers and the surrounding neighborhood.
Waiver
A waiver of liability is required for all individuals camping on Missoula County Fairgrounds. The Fairgrounds assumes no liability for damages to camping units or injuries. The Fairgrounds is not responsible for security of the camping area.
