Sylvan West

4-H

Sylvan West is 14 years old and in his fifth year of 4-H. He enjoys getting to do something most kids don’t get the chance to experience. Pictured with him is a Black Star chicken, one of several he is raising this year. He especially enjoys caring for them and watching them grow. The chickens love snacking on mealworms. In addition to poultry, he also participates in aerospace, electricity, and gardening projects, learning to grow flowers and tomatoes.
