Blakely Haine is 8 years old and her favorite part of doing 4-H is having live animals and getting to see them every day. She also loves getting to have and make friends. This year she has a Yorkshire / Hampshire cross pig named Pepper Jack that loves to eat marshmallows, apples, spinach, and lettuce. Blakely’s favorite thing about her pig is that he’s not overly white yet, since when he gets bigger, he’ll be more white on his stripe. Her favorite thing to do with Pepper Jack is to see his reaction whenever she goes out to see him because when he runs out of his pen, he smiles.
